Twilio Pricing: What You Pay Twilio
Twilio is a communication software that will allow you to select a local phone number. Twilio works as the provider and communicator for your SMS and Calls with our system. Their platform offers much more, but this is what we will be using it for. https://www.twilio.com/en-us
Leadngage will do all the configurations and connections behind the scenes as well as manage your regisration for you.

What do I need to register? Business name, Business address, EIN, and website with compliant opt-in consent on a lead form. We will collect this information from you during onboarding.
Our team will complete your registration for you once you create your initiate account & your business information has been shared with us. Most of our users are able to register under the Low Volume Standard Business level for a one time $4 fee and register their messaging campaign as Low Volume Mixed for a one time $15 review fee then a $1.50/mo campaign fee. These fees are paid directly to Twilio by you. See Overage Charges below for our note on additional credit applied to your Leadngage Wallet to cover regisration costs in order to not count towards overages for the Twilio activity we track.
In the US, pricing starts at $0.007 per segment and carrier fees charge around $0.003 per message.

Not all area codes are available. We are also able to guide you in porting in another number if you have a number from a different system that you would like to move over.
Locally placed calls start at $0.014/min and received calls start at $0.0085/min.

Temporary DND based on Number Validation
Send SMS to valid contacts to improve your delivery rate. This eventually will decrease the error rate and risk of account restriction.
When will the number be validated?
The number will be validated when the first SMS is sent or a call is made to a new contact through your Leadngage Twilio number.
What happens when the number is validated?
Temporary DND (only SMS channel) will be enabled at a contact level when number validation returns “Number is SMS incapable” (landline). This will ensure that no future SMS communication is sent to this contact number.
How much will the account get charged and will it always be charged?
The account will be charged $0.005 per contact validation. The charge will only be triggered once per contact. You can turn off number validation on the Leadngage Platform app.salesngage.net under Settings>Business Profile. We strongly encourage you to keep this setting on, while it may cost a small amount each month, it will save you more by stopping texts from sending to bad numbers or landlines.
Twilio charges by segment for SMS. A segment is typically 160 characters long. Carriers then charge fees per message. So one long message could include 4 segments. See the article for a breakdown on how emojis and special characters decrease the character limit of segment.

Overage Charges: What You Pay Leadngage
Your base Leadngage subscription monthly starts at $99 per month for the Messaging Plan, $199 for the Automation Plan, and $299 for the Platform Plan. The Social Plan does not include SMS/Calling fees.
Overage charges means we will be charging you for your Twilio usage over a certain amount every month. This is to cover our operational costs that connect our systems together.
Overage charges are billed at a multiplier of what your pay Twilio depending on your plan. The Messaing Plan overages are billed at approximately $0.09 per segment, Automations Plan overages are billed at approximately $0.04 per segment, and Platform Plan overages are billed at $0.02 per segment. This overage applies only if you go over the complimentary credits in the system, which equates to about 1000 segments per month.
Overages on the Leadngage Messaging $99/mo plan: you are provided a monthly credit within Leadngage for $117 to cover the first $13+ worth of Twilio charges (due to the 9x multiplier). So any charges monthly in Twilio over $13 will be also be charged by Leadngage at 9x the rate (approximately $0.09 per segment). This covers approximately 1000 segments, your phone fee, and campaign fee before you are billed for any overages.
Example, your fees in Twilio are $20 for the billing month, then you will pay $20 to Twilio, $99 for Leadngage Messaging subscription, and $61 to Leadngage in overage charges.
Overages on the Leadngage Automation $199/mo plan: you are provided a monthly credit within Leadngage for $52 to cover the first $13 worth of Twilio charges (due to the 4x multiplier). So any charges monthly in Twilio over $13 will be also be charged by Leadngage at 4x the rate (approximately $0.04 per segment). This covers approximately 1000 segments, your phone fee, and campaign fee before you are billed for any overages.
Overages on the Leadngage Platform $299/mo plan: you are provided a monthly credit within Leadngage for $78 to cover the first $39 worth of Twilio charges that count towards your overage fees (due to the 2x multiplier). So any charges monthly in Twilio over $39 will be also be charged by Leadngage at 2x the rate (approximately $0.02 per segment). This covers approximately 3000 segments, your phone fee, and campaign fee before you are billed for any overages.
How is it billed? Overage charges are billed in bundles of $10 or more. If you do not use all of the charged $10 in overage fees in a month, they do roll over and do not expire.
Monthly complimentary credits in the wallet balance included in the subscription do not roll over. They are refilled every billing cycle.
*Additional plans may be active with different rates with various levels of monthly wallet credits and overage rates. Current members on upgraded plans can access their billing data under the Leadngage Platform Settings>Company Billing. Current members that have not been upgraded, contact us for access to the billing portal.
